    What is Resin Bound?

Resin bound is a decorative surface, created by combining dried aggregate with a binding resin (predominantly polyurethane). The bound stone is floated to leave a seamless and smooth surface. As the system is permeable, when installed onto a suitable base, it is completely SuDS (Sustainable Drainage System) compliant. The system was originally developed for tree pits well over two decades ago, to prevent the lose of loose gravel. However, the industry has grown hugely since and is extensively used for pathways and driveways etc.

Resin Bound is often confused with Resin Bonded, to find out the difference, follow onto the next Post.
