I'm hoping to have my driveway done in resin this year.
We have 2 range rovers on the drive, how thick does it need to be?

Each product will have its own minimum depth specifications however this is general guidance and an installer may decide on a differing specification according to the specific site conditions. For turning, class BE to C1 vehicles we specify a minimum bound resin application depth of 25mm but certainly no less than 20mm. The images are specific to our system but will provide a reasonable approximation as to what will be required.

Superb response @Mark Almond! That is what I like to see. I have always gone thicker than most, but certainly agree with you that it depends on the project!

Hi @Eric, the typical thickness you see contractors install at is 18-20mm. I have always installed at the top end of this, with 20mm as standard. However, for particularly heavy vehicle traffic, I do up it further to 25-30 mm

Much appreciated @Mark Almond and @Wayne Hambly
This is very useful and will bear in mind. Wayne, I'm assuming you are the main installer to contact? Can I contact you tomorrow about my project?

We tend to install our resin at a 20mm minimum but as Wayne says we tend to push the thickness up to 22mm-25mm.... All depending and the use and what aggregate used.
